I loved the gi but the main problem for me was the ripping. The pants generally went first, but the jackets also tore. I'm pretty small and get my ass handed to me a lot by bigger, stronger guys who just love to yank and rip at the pants and sleeves etc, but I had a number of the gis so I could rotate them so as to not over-use just one. I don't know if it was a problem with washing them so often (after each class) and letting them dry out of the sun or what. But seriously, I had three of them rip over a two week period and I tried to patch them up but as you guys would know once they rip, that's pretty much the end of them.
Koral was very good with the service as one of the MKMs I had purchased, the pants riped after less than 10 classes, I contacted them and they sent me a new pair at a very cheap price, which I appreciated alot - however then the jacket crapped itself about 2 months later.
I might try to new light one, i think someone above mentioned it had rip stop material?
