Kron Gracie Explains Near Four-year Hiatus from UFC

I do. Although MT isn’t the best state, hes big fish in small pond. My state has a bjj academy every 50 feet and my instructor does well for himself and he isn’t a big name at all

Even though kron is a big name i think it ultimately comes down to whether he is responsible and disciplined enough to run a school long term or at least get someone to manage it for him. No idea how well his old school was doing but i cant help but think he is prone to disappearing all the time to snowboard/smoke weed/be philosophical.

That’s really possible but that’s just being a terrible business man, nothing to really do with his location. If he put the effort in, he can thrive.

fair point.

but he does seem to get more attention than other top notch grapplers that do MMA

So strange to me. MSU went downhill ever since they dropped wrestling

Maybe MMA and BJJ is similar to boxing, seems to be more popular with kids from broken homes or fighting demons. Rich kids from solid families aren’t as apt to gravitate to this world? I see that in our gym, on average.

The Gracies have no problem getting eyes on their product. He will have LEO and Firemen, grab some schools and run a kids class that will be full quickly. Seminars alone will keep the lights on if he brings in guys like Ortega and Nate Diaz

Got a secret? That’s cool but not my experience.

Theres no time for any of that when there are waves to surf, snow to board, ample weed, and when you are living the true life of a samurai with budo

I don’t own it lol. But we have a ton of professors, students and people in the medical field, all from the University and Hospital in town

All I need are some tasty waves and a cool buzz…and I’m fine.
