Regarding the Gracie Mag rankings. I really don't see how De La Monica was rated so high. He has competed a lot at black belt, but has always been stopped by the same guys at lightweight - Lepri and Langhi. I really don't see him beating the top of middleweight either. You have Cooper, Leite, Finfou, Garcia, Santana, and Moraes - and I would favor all of these guys.
De La Monica is super good, but I just don't see how he edged out guys like Ary and Maxwell who have won EVERYTHING at the colored belts.
