He should be forced to prove he can make 170 (not 171) if he wants back in the weight class

Why 170? He shouldn’t have any rules that other fighters don’t have.
He should just fight at 185, it’s a terrible division and he’d do fine.

Yes but if he wants to be triple C he’s got to get that 170 belt first. I don’t think he’d be able to go back down after an extended period at 185
The UFC is refusing to give Khamzat a title fight so he may have no other option. It could legit be like 2 years until he could get a title fight at 170lbs even though he’s ranked number 3
