Kurt Angle vs. Randy Couture????

Just read some news that apparantly came from an interview with Farall. Sorry if its already been posted.

"He is negotiating for a big deal with EXC. He claimed that although UFC, through Dana, didn't want him after he told them he would continue to wrestle, they now want him again after hearing he is negotiating with EXC. He is now negotiating with both. Spike wants him to go UFC.

Of course, he can beat anybody in MMA since he has "superior quickness". He wants to fight three times before he is 40. He is probably too big to fight at 205, so a special weight class will have to be made for him."

Source: Wrestling Observer

If he really is negotiating with Dana, wonder if they're planning on feeding him to Randy. I don't doubt EXC is trying to get him though. Would bring alot of publicity.

lol @ all of that. A "special weight class" made for him? that's hilarious.

if only there was a weight class for fighters that can't make 205, but are less than 265 lbs...

wonder is EXC is interested in Lesner too??

Couture by RNC, rnd 1.

Might be a good time for a 225 weight class. I guess that would be MMA's cruiserweight.

Sure, make the heavyweight division even shallower and shittier.

"Might be a good time for a 225 weight class."

??? No.

Angle is too quick and strong to get subbed...

ttt

Is this a serious question? If so, my answer is: Couture by PRISON SHANKING.

Angle's neck is like a stack of dimes, the poor guy's been injured so much. Doesn't he have limited range of motion in one of his arms too? I really worry what might happen to him in an MMA match.

UFC should stay as far away from Angle as possible. With his bad neck, one choke could ruin his health forever, causing so much bad press for the UFC.

couture by moonsault

This weekend Pat Miletich told me a funny story about Hughes tooling Lesnar in practice. Don't look for Lesnar anytime soon

wasn't that almost 9 months ago? i'm sure brock is a little more prepared now with 9 months of training with greg jackson. good for pat, telling you a funny story like that. isn't what happens in the gym stays in the gym? by the way, why is it embarrassing if hughes tooled lesnar. that is amazing that a man with 40+ mma bouts tooled a guy with ZERO. so what if brock is bigger, matt had years of experience to brocks none at that time.

maybe pat can tell you another funny story after lesnar starts tooling pats heavyweights.

Angle can make 205 no problem !

Randy used to walk around at 230.

Just because we're used to Kurt putting weight ON to be bulky for WWE, doesn't mean he can't cut for MMA.

UFC was dumb to think he would stop wrestling just because he was fighting for them. Ofcourse he would, that's his 9-5. UFC has no pension plan.

Maybe we could have Angle vs Couture with Big John McCarthy as the ref, and just when Randy slaps on the RNC and starts to put Angle to sleep Big John McCarthy does a heel turn and says he heard Randy verbally tap. Angle by ref heel turn screw job...it's true, it's DAMN true!!!

There's no way Angle would be able to pass a drug test- Have you seen him? he's the epitome of "roided out"

If they were training mma that might not be surprising, but there is no way hughes could out wrestle lesnar, unless it was both Hughes brothers v Lesnar in a 3 way dance

Another thing to take into account about Kurt Angle, aka the Thumb (my friend came up with this... his head looks like a damn thumb) is if he did fight heavy weight in the UFC, imagine what would happen if Cro-Cop kicked him in the head. I agree, with his injuries, Kurt is out of fighting. He should stick with TNA and get them to do shootbox rigged fights.
