Kyokushin's Bobbie Lowe

Has anyone ever trained with Kyokushin Ryu Hawaii's Bobby Lowe and/or read his work, such as Mas Oyama's Karate. Can anyone comment on that book in particular?

Mas Oyamas karate, by Lowe is a ok book if you are into kyokushin. Outdated techniques and old "feel" for the book in general (it was released 1964).

It shows mostly formal stances and basic techniques. The chapters on defense and sparring are interesting. Some of it are unrealistic, but some of it is actualy usefull and rare in more recent books on kyokushin.

All in all, I would reccomend it to kyokushin enthusiasts, but not anyone else.
