Lashley signs with TNA. end of his MMA career?

 blog.thesavagescience.com/2009/07/16/bobby-lashley-signs-with-tna

i think he's got a ton of MMA potential. anyone know where he's heading? i hope he doesnt' go back to professional wrestling full time. seeking a short term paycheck?

he's got a great camp and a lot of opportunities. i wonder what he's up to.

Man, I hope not...

I think I remember he said on MMA live he could do TNA and MMA. He cant do WWE and MMA because WWE is always traveling.

I don't see why he cant do both. Coleman, Randleman, Barnett, and lots of japanese have done both from time to time. An mma fight every 4 months or so leaves plenty of time for other things. I guess it depends on what arrangements he would have made with the wrestling promotion.

padding his pockets while he is training. No problem with this as long as he avoids injury

hes going to do both. Victoria who competes in TNA also wants to do MMA.

Tna is a light schedule. This will be good to attract fans of tna to mma and vice versa. They have to build him up like wcw did with goldberg though or else noone will buy that he is a legit bad ass mma fighter if he is doing jobs to five foot six aj styles.

bobby lashley is not even in the same league with AJ styles idiot. Styles is more popular in TNA than Lashley will ever be.

and thats TNA's fault, Styles could even more popular it werent for the WCW has beens.

I'm sure the UFC aren't too pleased if they had any interest in signing him relatively soon, but the schedule is so light it won't stop him from being a beast in MMA and eventually either they or Strikeforce will have to pick him up.

I'm sure if the UFC offer him a good deal after a few more wins then he'll have a clause to get out of his TNA deal.

i don't think Lashley wants to enter the UFC for another 6-10 months anyways. I think he could use 3-5 more fights before he wants to play in the big game. Taking down these experienced fighters and the super talented Brock Lesnar, means he needs experience and that ATT training. His track record thus far has been positive but unimpressive. better stand up and increased cardio capacity will make him a real threat.

Everyone keeps talking about Lashley being at ATT. Didn't he leave a few months ago?

No, he's still there. They cornered him for his fight with Sapp.

He doesn't get there as often, he's training with Shane Carwin and others closer to home, but I think he's still affiliated.

I'd pay to see that sparring session

No kidding.

Good for him

He probably needs money

No matter what Lashley says, he can't do both.
