My favourite story in MMA is when veteran fighters who have been under the radar or just simply forgotten going on a run and becoming champions. Like Robbie Lawler, Mike Bisping and Charles Oliveira.
Are there are any other veteran fighters currently fighting that could surprise everyone and become champs? Examples; Neil Magny, Kelvin Gastelum, Michael Johnson, Steven Thompson etc etc.

stipe was 33/34 when he became champ… kinda old and most people never thought he’d be a champ
My favourites were Robbie Lawler (I she’d tears)
And Michael bisping (never a fighter I rooted for but was soo happy that he eventually got the belt
I guess Ngannou was 45 when he won the Strap
