As for Rogan - Goldy
When they let Goldy go (he was not innocent in this matter) I was genuinely upset

Goldy made a lot of mistakes… and repeated the same talking points every fight
IMO he was phoning it in the last few years
I respect his body of work and admire his contributions; but it was time
And Lauren Sanko audibly got wet twice that night. Once when DC said can you imagine a 6’7 man laying on top of you. And the second time when Sean Strickland threw his hands down and started calling Izzy a pussy you could hear the horniness in her voice
As soon as I heard her voice I cringed.

Wasn’t that the running in joke for years tho for Goldy? That he often got it wrong? As far as phoning it in, that seems more Rogan as he used to be sharper and was more in tune to the game (or did his homework more I dunno).
He was always hyperbolic tho. I’m not sure if that’s him being the company man or just trying to add more color himself? On JRE, he talks completely freely and goes against company narrative a lot but he seems to be more company hype man when doing fight commentating?

Eric Nicksick just made a reference to Izzy being a conductor having all these diff tools to orchestrate and their strategy was to have Strickland take away his conductor wand which is sorta what happened - izzy could not bring his game together or could build upon it like he normally does.

Actually Strickland isn’t thrash, that would be a balls out all crazy offense fighter. He’s more like AC/DC, laid back riddum, basic chords everytime. Although not sure what the metaphor for his philly she’ll would be.

I didn’t see the whole PPV card but when I did watch, Sanko was great. The commentary lineup was much better than when DC and Rogan are together.
