The only people that think leglocks are cheap are people that know nothing about them.
I took to leglocks like a fish takes to water.
Leglocks are my best offence but I hate defending them more than any other technique, my knee is already fucked so I tend to panic a bit when someone catches a toe hold or a heelhook.
yeah guys who just crank on it with no idea what they are doing scare me a bit. some guys think that technique goes out the window with leg locks.

I goddamn hate heel hooks. I apparently have disproportionately large heels because whenever a new guy is having issues learning the heel hook, they call me over. First try every time: "oh, that was much easier."
