Well, the report is that he did and in the movie they show the two of them training, and then it cuts to Anderson hurt. In the movie, if I remember correctly, they do say that Ishii hurt him.
It is pretty bad though cause you see him FUCKING SHIT UP in training and after he gets injured he truly can not do much of anything.
I'm still waiting for the Fedor documentary "Like Vodka".
