In it’s hay day, the Gun Store, under management by Chris and Alicia Irwin (the hot blonde on all their ads), sponsored so many professional and amateur fighters. I’m sure you remember seeing their logo in the octagon on banners, shorts, etc. Some of you may have even come to their in-store events. They gave millions of dollars to help fighters on their journey to the cage.

Now it’s time to give back. Alicia Irwin, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 osteosarcoma (bone cancer). It’s a rare and aggressive form of cancer that is typically only found in children. Because of this, she does not qualify for any of the financial aid programs or cancer grants offered to other osteosarcoma patients and families.

She has already undergone over a year of chemo and radiation along with a full hip replacement, spine surgery, and other operations to remove tumors from her skull. With over 90 tumors in her body, her condition is unprecedented.

She’s recently been approved for a new treatment plan administered by Dr. Anderson at the Cleveland Clinic. However, much of the treatment is not covered by insurance. Helping Alicia pay for treatment will help pave the way for other osteosarcoma patients.

We ask that you please give back to a member of the MMA community that has helped so many fighters. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. She will be attending the World MMA Awards, if anyone would like to go brighten her day and say hi!

Many thanks to the McKenzie family for their generous donations.
