Yes, he sounds like a massive douche tool, but it's kinda fucked up if you agree to the terms, take the money, and then bitch about the thing you agreed to do for the money.

Now if they're forced to take the sponsorship, or they agree to it and this guy springs a bunch of BS on them that they never agreed to and threatens not to pay unless they do it, then fuck him.
