ttt; the times I've met him, he's nothing but class.
Spoke for a minute at the Bud; hope for the best...
My friends, I have received word that last evening at 11:19pm Luis was lost to us. I know he is well received in heaven and can train once again with Helio. I know he didn't tap, this one just went to the judges... Please take a moment to remember my friend, coach and mentor.
I miss you my friend...
Damn shame
RIP. :(
Sad news. RIP
I am really saddened to hear that.
My first tournament, about 6 years ago, I was nervous & waiting to compete. Luis grabbed me & one of his students & had us doing some light drills to warm up. It really helped me relax & just do my best.
He's always been nothing but nice to me. I feel sad for his family, students, and friends.
Wow...
That's terrible news.
I'm very sorry for his loss.
RIP
It's a sad day for BJJ in Charlotte and in general. Luis was one of the pioneers of BJJ in this region, touched a lot of people, and has always been a dedicated and giving teacher. He just recently hosted a seminar at his academy where many local schools got together with the proceeds to benefit charity. He will be missed.
Jesus I have chills right now
My thoughts, prayers and love are with his family and friends
I would like to think he is eating a great big bowl of Acai right now and doing some drills on tatames set up on the beach
RIP
RIP bro

RIP.
I wish I took more of a advantage of you being so close. I'm glad I got to learn from you when I did though.
We lost an incredible instructor, friend and human being. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Yeah, Charlotte has been hit pretty hard by this.
My condolences to his friends, family and students.
Rest in peace.
