Despite the fact that this was an amazing display of grappling Dominance this was still not a very good fight
Damien was able to control Fitch start to finish but inflicted very little damage I honestly feel that he played it too safe
After two rounds of control why not open some ground and pound try and finish the fight? Why be content to simply control your opponent?
I know Maia wants a title fight and I'm sure is worried about creating an opening to get caught but you can be just as calculated and controlled with GNP he doesn't have to go out and throw spinning back fists but try and do some damage 
He did no diffrent than gsp does in all of his fights, lots of control and no damage.
Also I would say Fitch is fairly difficult to finish or sub. He went for multile sub attemts but fitchs defence was too good.
Go back and watch gsp and Fitch and then maybe you'll see he did just alittle more damage then your giving him credit for!

GSP consistently does quite a bit of damage his problem is different in lacking a killer instinct to finish but more times than not his opponents come out looking pretty beat up
Fitch looked more like he went for a jog than got into a fight
The fact is its mma grappling is apart of it. Maia is a grappling master. He's never been known for crazy gnp???
