kying418 -7 times a day? Man. That is so different than the schedules I'm used to seeing.Mit - Incidentally..what has he been up to? Are we gonna see him back in action any time soon?
He's been busy teaching and training. His academy in NYC is getting really big. They just changed their schedule, and have bjj classes up to 7 times a day.
In terms of competition, I know he's definitely competing in ADCC (probably Sept 2011) and the Mundials (June 2011)...dont know about any other tournaments.
All off those people on the list could compile a list of who's who of their own?

I had an opportunity to train with him last feb. My office is 5 blocks away from his academy and my parents bought me a month of training there for christmas. It was pretty incredible for me learning jiu jitsu from Marcelo. Then I got to roll with him my mind was blown for weeks!
Add John Frankl to that list.
I've never had so much fun and simultaneously felt so helpless:)
Trained with him at my academy in Korea before his fight, then later at his NYC academy, gi and no gi. It was always the same. Lots of fun, lots of flow, but he could and did end it often and nearly at will.
I rolled with him recently at a seminar. It felt like a game.
Albeit a game I never had a chance of winning. But he was never mean or aggressive about it. He let me recover guard a few times, allowed me to implement parts of my game, etc. But when he wanted control he took it back effortlessly and without a struggle.
