Is there one guy in Australia who enjoyed it or at least felt comfortable watching it?
Why would guys feel uncomfortable watching it?
Haven't seen the movie, was there some good BJJ/MMA in it? Any UFC or PRIDE superstars in it? Highly unlikely, so I'm just wondering, what does this particular topic have to do with MMA? I mean after all, this is a MMA forum.
a. They just seem to. I haven't foudn one who liked it. they all
shift uncomforatbly in their seats when acknowlegeing that
they'd seen it.
b.
c. I think it was the cmfortable guy on guy subject matter
thing that makes people/guys uncomfortable. there was no
machismo. teh characters had a thoroughly nice time
together and no blokey crap. I think that's why they werre
uncomfortable.
Hey, I liked it! Didn't realise a film had to be dripping in testosterone to rate a mention...
Tim
Tim. That's 1.
Half of that movie is just watching an old ship sailing. Other half is guys running around on the ship. It blows.
I thought it was a great film. Except for the amputation.
Liked it, didn't get to see the end though?
I saw it 3 times at the flicks and nonce on DVD yet. It's abig
screen film.
I felt that Crowe and the doctor were a bit smug and Crowe
sound way too much like Jack Thompson, again, guilty of
smuggness but apart from that it was a nice story and my
heart lept at the site fothe tall ships. As I was William Dampier
in a previous life, that makes sense. They really did it
convincingly.
If my memory serves me correctrly hornblower was more about the story with not as much tall ship centred action. I remember the calssist captain being winched onto a ship in Hornblower. There was non of that sorta stuff on Master and Commander it was like Gladiator, a leader with his men all over again. Makes you wonder about Crowe's relationship with with his cow pokes at Coffs.
Loved it.
Now that you reminded me of the Movie,I'm getting out again.
So how was it?
