Yeah I actually talked to someone in casting via e-mail to try and be an extra. The calls were during work hours though. They advertised on Craigslist.
ask Fred if he needs a dishwasher.
TheAlchemist - Thanks for the clarification Hayn. There are usually at least 2 sides to every story.
Still, it doesn't mean that he isn't a cock-faggit-douche...
You got a problem man? Come out from behind your keyboard if you want to be calling people names otherwise shut the fuck up... First off, I would like to thank everyone at HMC for giving me great training and a great experience in Hawaii. Their are some very, very good kickboxers and grapplers out there and no one was even a little bit intimidated by me (which is a good thing!). Me and Masa had a hard sparring session, he is smaller but came at me very hard, so I went back hard. Of course I'm not just gonna be a punching bag because the guy is smaller. He caught me with more shots than I caught him with, but one of mine happened to be a hard kick to the ribs. I went to apologize to him but Haru told me not to and get back to sparring, so I did. I told everyone that I felt bad and I did feel bad. I saw Masa at a party a few days later and talked to him for a long time, apologized, and it was over. The fact is, it was sparring. Sometimes people get hurt. I had no intention whatsoever of hurting him and felt bad after I did. What else can you do? It happens to the best of us.... I hope to get back to Hawaii as soon as possible, I had a blast and almost got good at surfing. Masa said he would teach me to surf next time :)
Hey Matt, I'm glad you came to HG. Also glad you explained the situation from your perspective. As far as I'm concerned you are no longer up for the cock- faggit- douche label. If you read my previous post before that, you will see I'm just making a point of different perspectives and the possibilty of a situation being askewed b/c of only a one-sided perspective. Good man clearing that up w/Masa. I'm sure that not everyone saw Haru tell you to go back to sparring.
Ps I'm glad you're NOT a cock faggit douche.
welcome to the hg theimmortal!
TheAlchemist, glad we cleared that up man, like I said I had no bad intentions and I still feel bad for Masa but things happen. We are training to hurt people so sometimes people will get hurt. God knows I been hurt a few times lol...
FCTV808, glad to be here brotha!
HMC definately has some talent and good people.
Welcome to the HG Matt
when the interweb attacks
Matt, do your nuts feel heavy? Cause you got Todd Atkins hangin from them now...lol. It was fun having you over here. Always nice to get to spar with different guys who are talented. Good luck with your fight! You got a few more guys rootin for you now!
For the record, Masa does come at everyone pretty hard. He's a tough little guy who's not afraid of anyone. Then after he's done.....it's hard to believe what such a nice kid he is.
I think saying "Everyone" is inaccurate.
I know I personally never said anything about Matt.
And to Alchemist credit, he immediately posted after Matt and appologizes for his comment.
My $0.02
Nah no need. The occasional dick tuck iz good for the forum. Adds some comic relief. lol
todd you are the biggest dicktuck the interwebs have ever known. and the only thing that i got caught for was calling Matt a cock faggit douche to prove my point, of course i take full responsibility for that, but you todd, nothings ever your fault, and that's a big reason why you fail at life. and hawhiner ground? please, your whole m.o. is to complain about everything! later pot lol
As far as this issue goes, i stated in my first post that this is what i was "told". Implying that it could all be hearsay.
But for the record, the events did acutally happen and not so falsely for bystanders to witness. Matt is a UFC level fighter...Masa is NOT. (period)
i do not know Masa very well, but he is automatically considered a brother, because he is from here and a friend of friends. (period)
You have no concept of this because you are NOT from here, and have no true friends who would actually do/feel the same for you.
Then as i said in a later post, i actually got to talk to Matt myself, and found that he is a cool dude that respects and appreciates the people and place we call home. Was also there to witness him talking to Masa about the incident. Hayn is correct in saying that he has gained new fans here....But for me it's not about the fighter, it's about the "person".
Turdle, swing by for a lil trining session sometime. i would love to show you how soft Hawaii mma is. Seriously, let me know.
PS. if u other fuks don't share my sentiments about protecting our own...PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GO FUCK YOURSELVES! Thank you very much.
Oh I firmly agree, just prolly wouldnt have came here to share at the kool aid table. Kind of embarrasing at the end. Matt Bro3ned imo
im sorry,,,but....
"ARE U GUYS GONNA GRAPPLE NOW?"
CHEE TO THE MFKN CHEE HU
kim chee
aurite
Because admitting it to you means what? Are you the internet police all of a sudden, if so you should pay some one $500
Listen u dummass fuk, it's not about getting hurt. It's about how you treat a person when they are obviously hurt.
If u train, u get hurt. End of story.
But if i pop a guys knee or elbow in training, no matter what our intentions are i would very apologetically say i'm sorry for the fact that he got hurt, and try to do whatever i could to aid him in any way.
This is the last time i'm gonna respond to you about this, cause there's no sense in talking to a piece of shit when it doesn't wanna flush down the toilet. Just gotta flush it again, and be done with it.
For the record, I was standing there when Haru told Matt to "not worry about it, shit happens." At the time, like many commands from Haru, we get lost in translation. I did not know what he was talking about at the time, but was able to put it together later. At the time, it wasn't a big deal. Shit happens. Thinking back, I feel like Matt was visibly upset about the whole deal. Hard to tell someones feeling when you don't know them, but his behavior could have definitely been construed as remorseful. Whomever gave you the scoops about that night was giving there personal opinion. I was right there and don't think Matt was exactly proud of what had happened. But like I said Shit happens.
Saying someone doesn't have the right to discuss what happened is ridiculous. I don't think he was "whining". Just wondering what really happened. No biggie. That's what discussion boards are for right? I also disagree with trying to equalize Matt Browns skills to Masa. Masa is a great kickboxer so even if there skills were equal, the size difference makes a huge difference.
