Matt Hume's Grappling ?

How good is his grappling?
Who did he learn from?
Is Matt Hume a catchwrestler?
Will he fight MMA again?

best I have ever seen grapple live. That includes about 30+ bjj black belts I have seen live. The guy is unreal.

He's very good. Look at some of the guys who came out of AMC. It's too bad he got his knee injured in competition years ago, we didn't get to see him compete so much. Seems like he is one guy who was able to combine stand up, with Jiu-Jitsu, Shoot Style and Wrestling.

Rolled with him a few years ago. Yeah, he's got some jits :). Freakishly strong for his size as well.

Is Matt Hume a catchwrestler?

spits water at keyboard

HA!!

matt hume has his own style of grappling that I wouldnt quite call bjj or catch. He has combined a lot of all kinds of things. He is closest to bjj though.

Charles- Have you ever seen Rico Chipparelli roll?

MATT IS SICKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!! TOO BAD HE TORE HIS ACL AND MCL... :( I THINK THAT ENDED HIS CAREER WAY TOO EARLY.....

wrestling, sambo, japanese submission fighting. in that order is how he learned

cumprido: I have seen him roll on tape and I know of a bjj black belt who rolled with both rico chipparelli and matt hume and if in a grappling match I would put money on hume.

max: matt also has bjj training and has trained with many bjj practicioners.
