Volk dominated the the third fight with Max. It wasn’t competitive at all
Volk is 35. Max is only 32
Since that 3rd fight Max is 2-0. He dominated Arnold Allen who was on a 12 fight win streak. Then dominated and KO’d Jung Chan-sung. In fact, Max finished Zombie quicker than Volk did
Volk on the other hand since the third max fight is 1-3 with two losses being by brutal KO
MMA math and styles of fights are pretty wild how they work out sometimes
I think max would do better against Topuria than Volk did

For sure. I said the same when max stepped up against khabib last second to fill in for Tony years ago
The whole mma math vs. styles make fights is a funny thing
I already don’t like max at LW to begin with. But then putting him against khabib or Islam would be a nightmare
