“Money” is set for a rematch following the controversial finish to their first fight
Floyd Mayweather is set to return to the ring in another exhibition on Saturday February 10.
Taking place one day before Superbowl LVIII, “Money” will rematch John Gotti III following their highly tense contest earlier this year.
In June, the two men met in Florida and aside from some trash talking and antics between the corners, everything was running according to schedule.
Mayweather was dominating the contest as expected until the eight-round bout was waved off in the sixth due to “excessive trash talking” from both parties. What followed was an ugly brawl where the tension that had built-up before the first bell spilled over into the ring.
Gotti was suspended for six months by the Florida Commission but this time around, the fight will take place in Las Vegas.
