Two women are suing McGregor, claiming to have been injured by the former UFC champion back in 2018, though no charges were brought on.
As former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor gets ready to return to the Octagon, he will also have to return to another battleground â the courtroom.
As reported by the Irish Mirror, McGregor is expected to appear before the Dublin High Court next week as he battles two cases of assault allegations from a mother and daughter duo.
The first case, involving the daughter, will occur on April 23 in front of a judge and jury. The next day, the second case, involving the mother, will be heard in front of just a judge.
The incident that brought about these allegations supposedly stems from 2018, but no details of its nature has reached the public.
The GardaĂ â Irelandâs national police service â reportedly investigated these claims âat lengthâ at the time, but McGregor did not face any charges from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The former UFC champion is also facing a lawsuit from Artem Lobov, his former longtime friend and training partner, over both defamation and the $600 million sale of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey. No date has been set for these hearings.
It was recently announced that McGregor will return to the UFC to face Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303 on June 29, headlining this yearâs edition of International Fight Week.
It will be McGregorâs first fight since his leg break in his UFC 264 trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier.
