What about Keith Hackney. It’s been said he was a navy seal, but none of that was mentioned by the UFC

I remember Hackney did some interviews in the late 90s days on eyada.com and such. Haven’t heard from him after that. Maybe he’s sick of talking about those days. I remember some fans found his air conditioning company and called him…hehe.
I think it would have been mentioned if Keith was a Navy SEAL.

Oh,I can tell you that I have Googled Hackney’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
I googled Hackney and called him once to fight in an Iowa show. He turned it down because " he just signed with Kingdom in Japan" but it was a bullshit excuse.
Being on the midwest circuit i met many early nhb guys as well as many up and comers that went on to fight in the UFC and bigger events.

I’ve got a picture with Keith & Ken Shamrock involved in something together.
From what I have heard & I seriously believe that it might have came from Art Davie himself & Art or someone else that told Keith that nobody wanted to fight Emmanuel Yarborough & that if he wanted to be in the UFC he would have to fight Yarborough & Keith said yes.

Imagine being Hackney staring across the octagon from Yarborough. That would have been terrifying but he went forward and got the job done.
