Was an awesome guy, really cool and I'm glad to have met him.
But..... I've been coming here forever and I never had any inkling that he was so short. I know it's a trivial thing but homie is 5'6 tops. When he walked up to us I almost jumped in surprise when I realised who he was.

Good point.... if we're talking about pro-wrestlers, NFL players etc. However, Joe is a stand-up comedian.
Most guys exaggerate an inch or so, that's worldwide. But Joe is a really short dude. I would describe him as "tiny" and I'm 5'10.

imdb.com has him listed at 5' 8.5", everywhere else i could find has him an inch shorter (5'7.5")
There's lots of peoples' lives I wish I could have, but Joe Rogan's has to be near the top.

Okay, cool. I was just surprised that as someone who watched him on News Radio, has seen every UFC, has seen him grapple online and even listens to his podcast, this had never occurred to me.
Conclusion - everyone that Joe Rogan has ever been photographed or filmed with is short. Even Brock Lesnar is short because I felt like Lesnar when I met Joe and I am short.
