The upcoming PFL vs. Bellator event on February 24 is set to be a huge occasion for the Professional Fighters League, especially now that it holds both brands under one roof.
MMA fans have long dreamed of a card like this, with matchups that, until the acquisition was made official, were just dream fights that were unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Three champion vs, champion bouts are set to go down at the very top of the card, with PFL’s Jesus Pinedo, Impa Kasanganay, and Renan Ferreira going up against Bellator’s PatrĂcio Freire, Johnny Eblen, and Ryan Bader.
PFL chairman and founder Donn Davis today announced that his promotion has pulled out all the stops to make these fights just that extra bit special.
Posting on X, Davis said that a fight between two competitors who already possess world championships wouldn’t be right without there being something else to fight for.
He promised that the PFL has created a belt that will be worthy of a coming together between two champions, insisting that it “will not disappoint.”

The event will be headlined by a heavyweight championship clash between Renan Ferreira of PFL and Ryan Bader of Bellator. The winner of this fight will be crowned the first-ever PFL vs. Bellator heavyweight champion and will receive a custom-made belt from Tyson.
