Minakov: Fedors hands are still fast, punches hard

http://tofight.ru/archives/43804

"We had a very good training camp in Stary Oskol with a lot of HW sparring partners. I learned many new things working in pair with Fedor. He gave me a couple of good advices and showed some submissions from his arsenal: armbars, kimuras and such. I have to work more on those.

Also we trained several ways to keep the fight on the feet and on the ground - this is what I need right now, what I must improve. There are little subtleties in any submission, any action. Fedor showed them to me and my game changed. We spent a lot of time working on moves on the mat and GnP. Again, Emelianenko showed me many interesting things such as punches with short or average amplitude.

Fedor is in a good shape now. All the techniques are there, he hasn't lost anything – very fast hands, very hard punches, good conditioning. So, we have started our interaction and will keep it going. We'll have a cooperation helpful for both of us".

I believe...thanks for another great post! VU. Phone Post 3.0

Touch is fast becoming the GOAT poster!

Thanks..

If that was originally spoken in English, it would sound a bit luke warm. "Good" instead of "great" etc. Was that true of the original Russian or is it just the Russian tendency to understate things...? Hope that's clear.

Well, Minakov is not the type to talk things up but anyway he noted Fedor's "very fast" hands and "very hard" punches. Fedor's advices, shape and conditioning were "good" and the training camp "very good".

Thanks.

love some Fedor
