I doubt Carwin would want to fight a non-title fight before his guaranteed title shot against Brock. Chances are he wants to wait for Brock to be ready and try to win the belt before losing to a contender.

No one has said Nog is in line for the next title shot besides Nog. Carwin is fighting Lesnar so it doesn't matter anyways.
Imo the co main event will either be Cain/Nog or Alves/Fitch II.
Even if he is not in line, he is very close. It would be dumb for him to take a fight on less than a month's notice at this level.
