I'm an old school MMA guy. Love the skill evolution, tired of all the trash talk. Would never leave, but would like to see it change. Get more excited about actually seeing MacGregor's odd fighting stance work in the ring, than his third grade jokes on whatever opponent he's facing. Yeah, I get the mental game. But, it's getting stupid. Everyone and their mom has an "angle". It's like a shitty version (the hype part) of the WWE. Anybody else would like to see more fighting and less rah rah?
Nah. Just you old man.
I just watch fights. No need to watch every interview, podcast, press conference, etc.

I enjoy the trash talk, for the most part. The guys who are comfortable doing it and it comes naturally (Cruz, Bisping, McGregor), they're amusing as hell.
I don't like when it's forced or when it's obviously phony.
If you can't stand it, you always have the option of avoiding the promos and the clips posted on here. You could just tune in on fight night and you wouldn't have to listen to it.

Some of the prefight stuff I enjoy. Like seeing the training camps, finding out where fighters are from, etc. Like the post fight pressers too. A lot less crap talk usually.
I love all of it.
Agree, have to admit though sometimes you get a bit of gold and I chuckle.
It's the adhd society we live in. People are bored with a good technical fight and need some wwe antics to help with their short attention spans. It has gotten worse now that the sport has become more mainstream

Really good point. Everybody has their smartphone out to post during the fights and to talk about the talk.
Couldn't agree more OP. I want this thing to be as much of a sport as possible, as opposed to sports entertainment. It was heading in the right direction there for a while
Shut up Clarence
I sort of agree, although i enjoy it with Conor I think his success now means every fighter is trying his angle and doing social media call outs/demanding money fights and it's gets tiring.
Shut up nerd

Another great point. It starts getting WWEish.
I like it when its funny, otherwise it's just not very nice.

Funny works.
Serial killer funny works too.
Ie Cruz. Mcgregor. Mccorckle. Lawler.
It's a byproduct of the popularity, they're just selling fights.
That being said I have no interest in it and only watch the fights. The bits I've seen of it are fucking cringe worthy to hear out of an adult's mouth, but if other people like it and it makes them more money, go for it.
