Anyone have any information on Molluscum Contagiosum? What is the best treatment for it and how long does it last?
interferon treatments....freezing.....burning
i had it a couple years ago. got them frozen which made them look much
worse. i got sick of not being able to train so i rubbed them raw with
alcohol swabs, carefully removed and discarded the infectious, white
center, applied neosporin and let them heal. the ones i "treated" went
away much faster than the ones that were frozen.
it can last and spread for a long time if left untreated, however it doesn't
itch or hurt or do anything except spread...and spread it will.
not that i recommend doing what i did, but it worked for me.
I had that before. I got the freeze treatment from my dermatologist. It worked but it sucked, because the freeze treatment made it worse for a while.
