I haven't really watched much Japanese MMA since the Pride days, but now that I have HD Net I catch the occasional event. Just watching the DREAM card from last month and man, it's depressing. The state of Japanese MMA is pathetic.
Just watched Mousasi hammer this tomato can through the ropes, and is pounding on either side of his head and the ref is just standing by watching it. I saw someone's corner signaling to stop the fight, and only then did the ref step in.
I don't think you'd ever see that happen in American MMA.
