As far as paying fighters to train full time, LG has already bees doing it. Thanks LG.
Wow I must say I am surprised by the bashing of sponsors. I bet Nike
is just dying to pay fighters so the peer group can say how sucky it is.
I never bought a SOYO Motherboard so I cant say, I do have two SOYO
LCD TV's that were a third of what my plasma cost, they are used more
and perform as good. SOYO has supported several fighters from many
camps and for that I thank them and will give them and their products
another look when in that market.
As for MTX, I will tell you what I grew up loving Bass and MTX has long
been a leader in that space. They manufacture and design the majority
of their products in the US, they have US based customer service, and
they too are supporting the fighters, making it possible for them to
train and compete full time.
The guys at AZCS have been building world-class fighters for years and
now with these tow sponsors they can do more then donate the
training and gym time to the fighters, they can now pay them and
rotate in world champions of various disciplines to ensure that they are
building diversified future champions.
This weekend you will see the first product of this process. Everyone
say Jamie control the former champion Hermes Franca, everyone also
saw that fight go to the the more experienced fighter. That was Jamie
working 10 hours a day and training 4-5. Now Jamie and his training
partners (world class kick boxers, strikers, ASU Hall of Fame grapplers,
and we even mixed a 9-time BJJ blackbelt World Champion) training
8-10 hours a day. Being paid to run up mountains in 115-degree
weather, then to a gym with tons of body heat to spare and roll with
some of the best. I predict a early KO for Varner.
