Interesting data about Muhammad Ali's sale of 80% of his image rights:

The Ali Business historically has consisted of the commercial exploitation of the name, image, likeness and intellectual property ofvMuhammed Ali, primarily through a small number of endorsement and licensing arrangements. Based upon historical unaudited numbersv(which are not calculated in accordance with GAAP and may be subject to adjustment), the Ali Business’ historical annual gross revenue over the past five years has ranged from $4 Million to $7 Million.

In April of 2006, Ali sold an 80% stake in these businesses for a cash payment of $50 million.

even more interesting is that the company that did that was ABG the same company that bought tapout and hitman and did the recent wwe deal for tapout.

 

im also going to give them an ali style beat down in court for stealing my company and ripping off charles kids.

appeal is filed we got a bad ruling. we are getting it overturned and then its back into the court room.
