I remember this movie clearly from back then. It was promoted as a comedy / drama but the messages in it went deeper than that. Looking back on these scenes as an old man is way different. The fight scenes are fairly realistic with untrained people, something I would not have thought about way back.

Loved this movie as a kid, and was really worried when the bullies enlisted the bald guy at the end.
The bald bully’s taunting of Adam Baldwin felt so real, imo. Like he wasn’t acting at all.
I didn’t even remember the bully being Ethan until yesterday.
I wonder how many more movies from the 70s and 80s has mega stars in them we forgot about.
