The Leites fight Nate should have won, he had two points taken away, and one was legit, the other however was not and leites won by split decision. Had Nate won that fight he would have already fought Silva. Nate deserves the shot. Vitor is right behind him, and yes he has had impressive victories outside the UFC, but Nate has earned his shot in the UFC. He deserves to fight Silva.

Yes, the second point deduction was unwarranted, however the ref could EASILY have taken another point for the illegal slam Nate used on Thales at the end of the third round, but for whatever reason did not do so. The officiating in that fight was strange, to say the least, but at the end of the day Nate having the two points taken away was a fair result given his repeated fouls.
Nate had nothing for Leites up UNTIL the illegal knee....Thales had him hurt dropped him a couple of times before that.

He might be right depending on how MMA in that state scores majority draws. 29-28 TL, 29-28 TL, 29-28, NM turns into 29-29 draw, 29-29 Draw, 30-28 NM. In most boxing states that is a majority draw. In some states it would go to Nate.
Nate is the best threat at MW. He deserves a 2nd shot.
His loss was two years ago. In that time, Nate has gotten a whole lot better, and Anderson has stagnated. Nate crushes him next time. All the Maia nuthuggers have gone the way of CDs and cassette tapes after Nate embarassed him.

If Dan leaves, Nate should obviously fight Okami if Okami beats Sonnen, winner gets next shot after Vitor.

totally false, i just watched it last night...he walked into ONE straight right n got dropped in the 1st round, however he didnt look dazed n got right back after it, so much so that at the end of the 1st round leites was in trouble standing
