Nate Diaz = MOST respectful fighter in MMA

Taunting and slapping is a part of his game, it makes his opponents to lose their gameplans. Thats not dicrespecting his oppenent.
He and his brother has made it very clear; i dont want any friends in my division, if you will try to be my friend or my enemy your gonna have a the worst enemy you can think of. Be neutral. Like Miller. Didnt talk shit, neither wanted to be his friend.
But after the fights over he always helps his oppenents up/thanks them. Thats it Phone Post

goku - yup...taunting and swearing at jim miller during the fight = total respect

c'mon, you know that's part of how they fight. They put themselves in that mindset, because that's how they perform best. Miller knew it going in to it and wrongly assumed he wouldn't get caught up in it.

Diaz was way respectful after the fight and even plugged  Jim's walkout  shirt that supports his nephews
charity fund. EVen after he dismanteled Gomi, he was being very respectful. Nathan doesn't deserve the hate...

i like nick and nate ALOT...both how they fight and how they act...but to say nate is the MOST respectful fighter in mma is fucking ridiculous

ok, I didn't focus on the word MOST...so yeah, that's a stretch.

Look at the way Nate responds to his opponents after a fight. He almost always talks them up and shows them the utmost respect. I just think he needs that emotional edge before and during a fight which results in a lot of middle fingers and trash talking. I'm not necessarily a fan of those sorts of actions but I love the way he fights and can't deny the psychological advantage it has given him in most of his fights.

Lol I'm just kidding, I know what you're trying to say OP. I just thought this was appropriate.

Nate during and before the fight is an asshole; but as soon as the official decision is given, he is nothing but respectful; his post fight interview last night was pure class and totally humble. <br type="_moz" />

Yeah, he's not a terribly respectful guy. However, in fairness to Nate the finger here was in response to Cerrone fingering him before the fight. I loved it when he did this.

You could see in his eyes that Cerrone was broken when he did that.

Lol @ "Cerrone fingering him"

Sorry. Couldn't resist... Phone Post

Every fighter would like to intimidate their opponent. Look at both of the Diaz brothers. Skinny as fuck. They have to find some way to make their opponent doubt themselves and their ability. And I think the do it perfectly. Nothing will mind fuck you more than catching a dude clean and then he calls you a bitch, drops his hands and sticks his chin out asking for more. Or giving all you have in a round and feeling good about it, then looking across the cage to see you haven't make them respect your power or skill as they flip you the bird. Just my take on it. Either way, like them or hate them, you can't deny how impressive they are. By far my favorite fighters to watch. Phone Post

You guys look into it way too much he says repeatedly in all his fights that he has to hate his opponent it's the only way it gets him motivated enough to fight that's why he doesn't show them any respect no hand taps no nothing. Every fighter has their own way of getting ready either if you're Alistair roiding up or Machida drinking his own piss every fighter does it their own way. Nate and Nick's is hating. After the fight it's all good baby lets go have a blunt or a beer.

Making your opponent seem incredibly tough AFTER you beat them helps elevate YOU, not THEM.

I like him but when he tried to build up Gil as the best lw sorry guys. Bendo would crush him. So would Frankie. Hell even Nate. He's like jake shields at ww with nick.

Nick > jake
Nate > Gil

I respect them just don't agree Phone Post

For people saying they bitch when they loose, yes when they loose shitty wrestler decisions. Phone Post

If you can't wrestle that's your own fault Phone Post

yes, everyone knows they taunt to get in the head of their opponent, but if someone was the MOST respectful fighter in mma, they wouldnt do that even to gain a competitive advantage...

yes, nate is respectful after the fight, but he is NOT the most respectful fighter in mma...hell, the guy nate just fought is actually a LOT more respectful

You can take the man out of the 209, but you can't take the 209 out of the man. Phone Post

He seems respectful just super competitive when he loses, but the most respectful id give that to Brian stann or someone along those lines.. Phone Post

"WHAT MOTHERFUCKER WHAT"
Nate Diaz is my favorite fighter of all time but being respectful is not one of his strong suits Phone Post

It was pretty cool of nate to tell fans to buy Millers t shirt to support his nephew.

That's how they fight. Both of them are loyal as pit bulls to Caesar, Gracie jiu jitsu, and their teammates. No one else except Bendo ever talks about their teammates post fight. Phone Post

Yeah in the post fight presser they asked him how he got that guillotine he said "if you want to know that you'll have to come Lodi Californai and get with Caesar Gracie fight team"...always pluggin' Caesar's gym

Ad 10d - All those fights have one thing in common. He was the winner. Diaz brothers winning=respectful. Diaz brothers losing=some of the biggest scumbags in the sport. A persons character doesnt get tested when they win. Its when they lose. True story
So true. Phone Post
