Just wanted to share this review that I got on my site, victorybelt.com. Eddie, Glen Cordoza, and myself put months and months of work into this book (easily ten times the work we put into Jiu-Jitsu Unleashed), and I am very happy with the final product. If posting this review seems like I'm tooting my own horn, I apologize ahead of time. For those of you who received advance copies, any reviews, good or bad, would be much appreciated. We're in the middle of Eddie's next book, Mastering the Twister, and I promise we'll take suggestions seriously. And knowing Eddie, if we use any of your suggestions he'll give you mad props in the book.
Review:
I got the book today, and I just wanted to say, is this a joke? This book, for only 30 dollars!?!? This book can be sold for at least 50! I opened the book and quickly scanned through it, and was just amazed at the material and the quality of it. This book is 20 times better than Eddie Bravo's last book in every aspect possible. This is well worth the money, probably the best book I have ever invested in. Thanks for the great product!
I apologize to anyone who ordered the book on Victorybelt.com and hasn't got his or her copy yet. The first 10,000 copy shipment got snagged by customs as if the books were filled with ganga rather than some kick ass jiu-jitsu moves. Anyway, the books will arrive to my Cali warehouse in two days and all copies will be shipped out the same hour.
The book is very well done. Eddie really breaks down all the moves and variations, right down to the minute details. It's also much easier to see what's going on than it was in his JJ Unleashed book, as the new book uses vivid colors and provides an alternate view of every move. It's really a steal at $30.
I got mine a few days ago and this book is bad ass! I've already been hitting some of the techniques successfully when I roll. Can't wait for the next one!
