My instructor sent me to train with Ze Mario Esfiha and I have continued doing so for the last 5 months and I have enjoyed the privledge.
The man is a phenomenal practitioner and has helped me improve my game immensely. Not only are his classes fun and full of info but you feel really confident with the material you learn from him.
I recommend anyone to check out Esfiha on dvd or in person. You won't be sorry.
What does Ze mean? And are all Brazilian Marios Ze Marios?
The Brasillian 'Marios' seem to be 'Ze', but only the Toowoomba versions are 'Super'... ;-)
Ze is short for Jose.

I have the Medeiros, and it is great! I'd recommend that to anyone with a basic working knowledge already.
I think that I need to consider that Passing Guard DVD next...
The descriptors are a little confusing. Under the Medeiros link, the text for each individual DVD/video describes them as "starring" various guys such as Julio Fernandez, Richard Colavin etc.
I take it these are his training partners in each video respectively?

Yes, they are just different training partners, friends, and students that volunteered to help him out on the taping of each tape. It's a great set to have in your library!
