Do you know how hard it is to just start up a sports league from scratch?
50% of nothing is still nothing.
Maybe over a very very long run it could work out great but with every major fighter under contract it’s not happening any time soon. And who is going to broadcast this league? ESPN is all in on UFC. Viacom has Bellator. They’ll need someone to pony up cash to for broadcasting rights but who and why?
It’s going to take some major leaps of faith from some major names to get something like this any big momentum.

Agree, it’s not going to be easy. Start date for this new league apparently is 2023, lots of things to get done to make it successful, and even more to keep it running after year one
