Is it good?

23 not stop minute of nick hitting the speed bag

Lol, wasn't Nick complaining about nobody getting him water the other day ? :) Cool video.

Can someone who actually knows how difficult put this in perspective? How would this compare to running? Harder than running a mile at a good pace? Phone Post

I already did this thread dude!

Isn't that like the lady in Lodi who's rooting against Nick? Disrespectful... Phone Post

If anyone actually watched that entire video - no fast forwarding/skipping/speeding up, as in you literally watched all 27 minutes, I have to ask, is there not anything else in your life you feel would've been a more constructive use of your time?

Otherwise, impressive, the man has skills and cardio for days.

i've always considered the speed bag a cool thing to show off on, but fairly pointess to learn otherwise. am i missing something? serious question

No, you're spot on. None of the punching motions are similar or related to how one actually punches. Apologists say "It helps develop rhythm and timing." Yeah, so doesn't training with someone hitting back. It's one of boxing's greatest gimmicks that many fall for. At least when you hit a heavy bag it looks like a punch you would actually throw.

Justice playing in the background...

Speedbag training seems like it would just cultivate greater hand eye coordination, which itself seems like a priceless tool for fighting. Anything that can improve accuracy seems like a credible way to train. Phone Post

Im impressed Phone Post

And I did a thread before yours. Your point?

To train the eyes to see something coming toward them, and to not flinch, as well as to coordinate the eyes, hands, and response time to an object (speed bags a little bigger than a fist), is vital to boxing. Speed bag work is definitely beneficial.

The speed bag builds hand speed, hand-eye coordination, and endurance in your shoulders, arms.... I love it. One of my favorite exercises. To go 23 straight minutes at the pace that he did at times is very impressive. Phone Post

He is in fantastic condition. His timing is dead on. This is going to be a very good fight.

I fear for Georges. Georges is also in perfect condition. But he better not make a mistake.

Nick obviously didn't waste his time off. That boy has been putting the work in for sure.
