Man, Nick just ate all of Bj's punches like they were nothing. Didn't even try to dodge them, and then proceeded to destroy Bj against the cage.
I just watched the 1st round with the sound off (shitty office desktop no speakers).
Wow, BJ Penn was something else. He owned Nick on the feet, owned him on the ground. Nick couldn't handle BJ's speed. He ate a lot of uppercuts, 1,2's trying to get in. BJ would slip and counter.
If BJ can do it, so can Silva. Silva is a solid 3 weight classes above BJ. Maybe 3. Matrix shit is what Silva is about.
I used to think Nick had a chance, after watching the first round here I realize Nick is gonna get matrixed.

first off, thanks for posting, VU. Second, damn, forgot how great this fight was. Third...DAMN, that scramble in round 1, plus all of the in pocket boxing. Fun fight.
edit: forgot how annoying it is when goldie says "that stockton slap" that doesn "a ton of damage" He is chompin at the bit for the anderson silva vs diaz fight....any chance to use a stockton slap drop.

My soul looked as bad as BJ afterwards. That shit hurt to watch...I hate thinking about Penn's last few fights. All you can take away from those fights is the heart he displayed. Except the last Edgar fight...I don't know wtf that was.
