Nick looking thick, tight, solid for 185

Stone Free - Sounds like the UG is getting a little homoerotic with its thread titles.
So the thread title doesn't ring a bell at all ? Phone Post 3.0

I agree he does look good. But like previous poster said just waiting to see how Andy looks after hydration. Phone Post 3.0

You all keep mentioning how tiny Nick is compared to the rest of the division as if that automatically means he will get rag-dolled... Well here are some facts for you.

Fedor the heavyweight GOAT fought at a weight disadvantage his entire career.

Anderson the middleweight GOAT isn't a huge MW. He is tall and lean.

In Hendo's prime, he moved all over the weight scale winning multiple world titles including a knockout of Fedor. The only time I ever remember him getting handled for his size was when a massive Olympic wrestler moved down a division and Hendo was both old and well undersized for LHW. (Cormier of course.)

BJ Penn cleaned out LW and WW and wom world titles against much bigger dudes... He even fought Machida competitively! Can't deny he gave up a size advantage for most of his career and is arguably LW GOAT.

Anyone see where this is going? Nock always comes to fight and generally finds a way to scratch out a win. He hardly gives up a size advantage at all. Phone Post 3.0

Hahaha Nock. Phone Post 3.0

The only thing gayer than me wanting to see a pic of a swole Nick is the lack of said pictures in this thread. Phone Post 3.0

Rambo John J - Some of his most impressive fights have been at 185

He's never fought at 185

Might wanna stick to polishing Jon Jones nob.

Be nice.

I gave him that SN in a one month screenname bet on the Glover/Rampage fight in January 2013. Maybe the best value ever gotten out of a screenname bet.

mrichter - The problem with Nick is that he is more of an endurance athlete than a short burst/explosive athlete.

The current rule set leans towards the explosive athlete, if you give him at the least Pride rules (which he loved) then we would see a lot different fights with him, he'll keep going through that 10 minute first round whereas most others will be feeling it hard.

Nate has the same disposition, they are born endurance athletes. Precisely why Nick participates in Triathlons etc.
Maybe they should try a different sport then. Phone Post 3.0

Given that Hendo weighed in at 199 vs DC.... Yeah Nick is 100% bigger than Dan Henderson, especially after two years without having to keep his weight down. Most fight fans just see numbers and have never experimented with their own body comp to gain a better understanding of what goes into that 185, 190, 200lbs Phone Post 3.0
