He wasn’t a throw away he turned down the contract to go to GFC, he left on a couple of wins.

I think or hope he means throw away like the UFC didn’t respect him enough to offer him a proper contract. Maybe …?

UFC owned pride for 33 as well, was in vegas

He was 6-4 in the promotion. 3 losses in a row. Although we all know he beat Joe Riggs
He was a ufc throwaway. He wasn’t considered anything special
Then beat Pride’s beat LW fighter
He was a large welterweight/small middleweight who got busted and bloodied up beating a lightweight in Pride. That’s how tough Pride was.
