Booing 10 seconds into clinching on the cage. Fickle fuckers.
To be honest, I preferred the silence. Hearing the strikes hit with clarity. Picking up on the instruction from the corners during the rounds. I felt like I was more in tune with things when they weren’t drowned out by crowd noise.
Woooooooooo!!!
There are some negatives, but I love the crowds being back.
Life, energy, community, freedom - and a return to normality.
Remember GSP vs BJ 2?
Remember how hyped the crowd were when BJ first came out with his Hawaian Warrior IZ walk out song, and then GSP came out in his Gi and headband to French Techno.
No way that would be the same with no crowd!
Goosebumps are back!
Totally agree man.
I love both, but I think that’s where TUF shone, some of those fights with guys you had little info on were even better in the training center because you could literally feel the strikes they were so loud. It honestly depends on the fight, but a rivalry main event just has to have a crowds energy
Well said.
I like the covid cards but I’m happy that crowds are back. If nothing else it makes me happy shit is getting back to normal.
Way more energy with the crowds back.
Both my children (4 and 7) watched their first fight tonight just to see fans in an arena without masks. My 7 year old wanted to go just because of that. Got to love it
Don’t get me wrong. I’m pro mask and got my vaccine, I’m not really comfortable with the crowd still but I can’t control that and am remembering how great it is hearing the excitement from the crowd.
I hope everything turns out great, folks are healthy and the card is a success.
Yeah, Im with you, but this is a kid who just wants life to be normal again and I have to love him for it
Yeah for kids it must be really strange. Life seems ‘bigger’ when you are a kid. And time goes slower. I remember time off school, for six weeks seemed like an eternity.
So, for kids that age, and people have been in masks for a year, it will be everything for them.
As adults, a year is not so long, and we can project to see an end point.
Happy things are getting back to normal.
Very much, I remember my childhood so often through my sons and I know for a fact they’re tougher than me for how they’re handling it all. Plus you should see the 4 year olds overhand right, I’m scared for my future.
Absolutely bud
No one is wearing a mask in there lol nice
