You didn’t invent the body triangle. It’s been banned in folk for decades
I got this event on VHS from Brian Kodi "Zoohjitsu" waaay back in the day. It was grainy as hell but it just seemed so exotic.

I remember that too. I mean, it was a position but as you said it was mainly to get back to guard as opposed to attacking position (from bottom). But Gordo was refining it further in the eaerly 90s. Took a while for the idea to trickle down. I love it from top but still only ever use it as an escape to gurard.
