One Smoker done!

Here I am seasoning the inside f the drum. Most people use Pam cooking spray or veggie oil.....FUK DAT SHIT! The Sarge uses BACON FAT!

 

Getting the coals started......WITH A FUCKING FLAMETHROWER!

The heavenly smell of bacon and smoke wafts through the afternoon air.

 

I came home from training @10 and temp was still same (a little over 250) and all my vents were open for 5 hours. I was only using ~1/3 of a basket of charcoal. Capped all the vents to smother it. Tomorrow I throw some pork butt on in morning.

 

FCTV wants me to do char siu ribs......intriguing!?!?!?

sarge, quit using faggot kingsford charcoal. they suck.  safeway generic brand is better.

 

why? because kingsford sold out and now uses macadamia nut shells in their mix because it's cheaper and they think they're being green. they suck.

I check it out, hope they have the 18-20lb bags close to price of the Costco Kf

OK, OK! I buy Safeway charcoal.....I use up the kingsford on ribs for FCTV! :p
