Could you not just judge the fight on a whole? You could still have rounds but only so the fighters can have a break and judge the fight based on everything.
Hendricks overall out wrestled and outstriked him but because of rounds somehow gsp sneaks it

i think sort of the opposite
they have to use tha damn 10 point must system, so why not judge every minute of the fight on that scale?
its more complicated to do, but makes more sense with overall points.
