Rogers should win as long he does not make a mistake in the clinch. A stiff double jab and leg kicks could also slow down Rogers. Foot work and using angles when striking would also help Overeem avoid Rogers attack.
this fight is coming down to whoever lands cleanly first is winning. if fedor can ko rogers w a punch i am pretty sure overeem can do the same..both are power punches but overeem is more technically solid.
i see rogers rushing out winging shots at the bell overeem surviving...then going on the offensive w leg kicks that will damager rogers bad..then some clinching where either rogers is going to land a ko punch within the clinch of overeem ko's rogers w a knee from the clinch. not decided who wins it but this is how it will end.
When he ko's Rodgers in the first round he'll be great again. Has anyone watched his fights lately, he looks 10X better than he did before. Is there a better striker in any mma heavyweight division? Heart and condition may be a question but i doubt anyone lasts long enough to find out.

Unlike Overeem, Junior Dos Santos has actually KO'd several good opponents standing in MMA. So has Fedor, for that matter.

I think things are changing now. He obviously bigger and stronger and has some great striking. Knees are vicious. A lot of his losses were a while ago now. Let's see how he does against some big competition like Fedor. Rogers didn't impress me. The only thing big about him is his mouth and flabbiness. He's only got a punchers chance and is not that athletic. Really evident in the Overeem fight who was able to get him off balance and use that big weight against him.
People need to realize Overeem and Ubereem are two completely entities.
