That twitter user is the guy that beat up CM Punk
This is basically no different than if somebody showed up to a BLM protest and got fired because it at some point became violent while they were present, or if, since quite literally hundreds of the protests became violent/riotous, voicing any kind of support would mean you become a social outcast.
You can see the mirrored images of how these two issues are dealt with. A minority of most of the BLM action was explicitly violent..but that minority action resulted in hundreds and hundreds of violent riots. Billions in damage, thousands of police injuries, dozens of deaths, hundreds of acts of assaults, historic monuments torn down, mass arson of homes/businesses/government buildings, etc.
Not only was vocal and active support never once curtailed...but critcism based on this mass chaos and suffering was considered itself worthy of contempt.
This incident is the polar opposite. any association even no matter how slight should be enough to get you fired, removed from every internet platform, censured by the congress, slandered by the media, etc, etc.
