I'm not surprised Davis has found an injury. It was a fight that he would probably lose. If Machida is his replacement then I expect Evans to pull out with injury also.

Davis should have never been offered the fight in the first place. A few weeks before accepting the fight he announced he'd be taking at least 6 months off to recover from a nagging injury. The UFC was dumb to offer him the fight as he doesn't deserve it and it was known that he was injured going into training. You can't blame Davis for taking this fight.
Rashad should come up with a finger injury he "needs surgery" for, then once Machida has a new dance partner, come and proclaim himself "healed".

Wow, I really never thought I'd get to see these guys go at it again and here it is. I'll be watching this one from the comfort of the castle. Just 1 great fight on a great card.
Wow Rashad has to be bummed.
Has huge momentum after the TUF series with Rampage, beats him, gets the title shot, decides to wait to take on a weakened Shogun and boom it blows up in his face.
Loses his training camp, forced into a fight with Jones that I think he knows he would struggle against, then loses that title shot for a difficult fight against a dangerous prospect in davis (but not a big name), now relegated to face his arch nemesis who destroyed him last time.
And the title isnt even on the line anymore.
In fact he is probably third or fourth choice now after Rampage, Shogun/ Forrest, and Machida (if he wins)
only reasonable thing to be done now machida isnt in the running is to give shogun rashad, and give tito his rubber match with griffin
