I know it's the WFA, flame away! My wife runs a non-profit dog rescue that saves good dogs that will be killed. Friends of her's saved a paralyzed Weimaraner, got him a device so he can walk again, and he has a new lease on life.

What is the criteria for a "good" dog? Purebred dogs? No mutts? Their are so many healthy dogs that are killed daily, why try to save a fucked up paralyzed dog that will have a low quality of life if he does live?

I hate to say it, but I agree. That device has to be pretty expensive, I wonder how many healthy dogs that money could save from euthenasia.

The shelter that rescued him will win $2k if they win.
